An interesting new survey on Australian reading habits has been published recently.
A Changing Story: Trends in Reading Amongst Australians found that the most well-known Australian authors were:
- Bryce Courtney
- Tim Winton
- Matthew Reilly
- Colleen McCullogh
- John Marsden
- Di Morrissey
The most identified international authors were:
- J.K. Rowling
- Stephen King
- James Patterson
- Jodi Picoult
- Dan Brown
